it was work at yewtee yesterday!

my friend was nice enough to fetch me to queenstown mrt station =) AND I FREAKINGLY DROPPED MY LAPTOP WHEN I GOT OFF THE CAR!! *screams I DROPPED MY LAPTOP! OMG! i was so unafraid to unzip the laptop cover just in case i find my laptop in pieces =/ but thank goodness, my laptop survived the fall. *pat on my laptop

mr low picked me up at queenstown mrt station and my "work" started! we drove to science park to check the price for repairing his laptop, stopped by queenstown cinema to wait for his wife, off to tiong bahru market for kuehs and coffee, dropped his wife at ikea, went to his queensway office and BACK TO YEW TEE! so i spent half the day travelling everywhere and im paid for. heh.

its 7 working days this week! but i don't mind helping out on a sunday for the pcf golf tournament. heh. its like an excursion (unless they really ask me to carry tables and chairs)

im going to end my retail job next week! mixed feelings. but i really should rest for 10 days before sch starts all over.

alright. i better go bathe, lunch and make my way to work.

DARLING JOYCE!!! I MISS U SO MUCH AT WORK! no one to whine/complain/gossip/talk to meeeeeeee! don't work at iras! come back stradi till 31 july!

i was totally zombiefied during work yesterday. totally moody. everyone asking me whether im okay. haha! just wasnt in the mood to work, wasnt in the mood to serve customer, wasnt in the mood to SMILE. grumpy! maybe because both joyce and meijuan were not around =( it makes a big difference you know. joyce was so sweet to drop by stradi during closing. awwww. but a pity im meeting businessman friend so i couldnt train home with her. next time babe!

so rare to have an off day during the weekdays. heh. im supposed to work at yewtee, but the roster at stradivarius came out only on sunday night. (now you know how efficient these people are. tsk. and my shift for the week is HORRIBLE! roars! late shift for 3 days straight! full shift on a freaking SATURDAY and early shift on a sunday! how to meet friends for dinner u tell me?) and its abit last min to call mr low in the midnight to tell him i can come to work the very next day. so i shall just have a self-declared off day! and thus an impromtu shopping trip with na =)

and because we have not met up for eon years, we talked more than we shopped. heh =p and we camwhored in the toilet somemore. usual us. haha! pardon the lousy quality of the photos.

i realised blog is an amazing thing and im glad i have not stopped blogging since the day i decided to. reading my past entries made me realised how much i have grown. from major milestones all the way down to nitty gritty insignificant stuff. sometimes i feel silly reading my own blog especially those that were written like years ago and it made me sillier hearing people telling me what i blogged in the past. oh well. random thoughts.

work is pretty much the same these days. except that i noticed a drop in the number of customers. haha! good news for the temp staff, bad news for the perm staff because that means they may not earn their commission. meijuan and i decided not to resign! oh man! i printed the letter actually. but on second thought, we decided not to. aye, i hate making decisions.

been drinking too much of milk tea with pearls. fattening =(

retail job has exposed me to different kinds of people. i really wonder where has their civics and moral education went to. seriously. no doubt, retail is indeed a mundane and routine job. but it does shape you in a way.

1. learn to maintain ur smile and talk nicely to customers even though you are damn tired and

peeved at the pile of clothes in front of u

2. learn to be patient with yourself and towards customer.

- don't get fed up when customers keep asking you to help them get sizes time and again.

(but then, i really wonder why cant they get the sizes themselves. they can walk right?)

- don't get fed up when customers throw ur clothes everywhere after you have just

folded it nicely (again, i don't understand why they must treat the place like some pasar

malam. we are civilised people arent we? stop throwing clothes around the store!)

- don't get fed up when customers insist that you checked the stock for them AGAIN even

though you have just checked and told them you do not have stock. (why must they doubt

us huh? we wouldnt lie. )

alright! im slpy already. stop here for now.

IM ALL ALONE IN OFFICE NOW! because its holiday due to youth day! and my boss left the office for another office. SO IM HERE SHAKING LEGS!

to think that i spent my morning cabbing from woodlands to punggol to yew tee. EXPENSIVE CAB FARE! i went out of house without a single cent because i thought i could just withdraw money from the atm right? so i took a bus to woodlands this morning and wanted to board the train. buttttt, my ezlink card was low on cash so i had to top up. and to my horror, there was something wrong and i couldnt top up my card using nets. so i decided to withdraw money then. and to my horror AGAIN, all posb and dbs atm were down!! the security guard at dbs bank told me their system is down island wide. AHH BEST! stranded at woodlands! want to take cab to yew tee also cannot because i cant nets anyway. so i had to cab home to take money and back again. SO RETARDED LA. and i finally reached the office at 10.30am! hahah! i was supposed to reach at 9.30am. but my boss nice ah. he told me to write 9am on the timesheet =) haha!

i just printed my resignation letter for my retail job. haha! actually im just leaving 2 weeks earlier than the stipulated date. haha! too much of conflicts within a small little store. yet another experience. i think the working world is bad. everyone is just plastic. superficial. and i don't like it.

im confused by all the things that happened. why is my life so happening?

JOYCE AND I ARE CONTEMPLATING TO LEAVE DURING MID JULY! hahha! this is totally random. whether to leave at mid july or to leave at end july doesnt sound as if there is much difference. BUT THERE IS! but then again, if i quit, I'LL BE JOBLESS! which i don't want too. HOW? stay then. since mei juan doesnt wan to leave, we cant leave her alone also.

ended work at 11pm last night. impromtu supper with joyce =) haahha!! we were both famished by the end of work. shared mcwing meal! =) yummmmy...
