VALERIE'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!

we were supposed to go FOOD FOR THOUGHT but don't know why their last order was so early. so we changed venue in the end! went TIMBRE instead! =)

i realised i didnt take photo with the birthday girl! nvm. next dinner! =)

i realised blog is an amazing thing and im glad i have not stopped blogging since the day i decided to. reading my past entries made me realised how much i have grown. from major milestones all the way down to nitty gritty insignificant stuff. sometimes i feel silly reading my own blog especially those that were written like years ago and it made me sillier hearing people telling me what i blogged in the past. oh well. random thoughts.

work is pretty much the same these days. except that i noticed a drop in the number of customers. haha! good news for the temp staff, bad news for the perm staff because that means they may not earn their commission. meijuan and i decided not to resign! oh man! i printed the letter actually. but on second thought, we decided not to. aye, i hate making decisions.

been drinking too much of milk tea with pearls. fattening =(

retail job has exposed me to different kinds of people. i really wonder where has their civics and moral education went to. seriously. no doubt, retail is indeed a mundane and routine job. but it does shape you in a way.

1. learn to maintain ur smile and talk nicely to customers even though you are damn tired and
peeved at the pile of clothes in front of u

2. learn to be patient with yourself and towards customer.
- don't get fed up when customers keep asking you to help them get sizes time and again.
(but then, i really wonder why cant they get the sizes themselves. they can walk right?)
- don't get fed up when customers throw ur clothes everywhere after you have just
folded it nicely (again, i don't understand why they must treat the place like some pasar
malam. we are civilised people arent we? stop throwing clothes around the store!)
- don't get fed up when customers insist that you checked the stock for them AGAIN even
though you have just checked and told them you do not have stock. (why must they doubt
us huh? we wouldnt lie. )

as you can see, i have yet to learn to be patient -_-'''''

3. sharpen your communication skill to better understand the needs of your customer, knowing
what to say to convince them to buy

alright! im slpy already. stop here for now.
