its vday with ben =)

plan A was aborted for plan B. so bf came to pick me up and we went grocery shopping for our jelly cheesecake =) we found recipe for it but it became pretty redundant because we practicallly changed the whole recipe.

we were supposed to use 50g of icing sugar but bf hse has neither icing sugar nor white sugar so we resorted to using brown sugar =x and because brown sugar is less sweet....we decided to add more of it. but bf hse has no weighing scale to measure so we use agaration, assuming 1 spoonful of brown sugar = 12g. and so we happily added 6 spoonful of it.

by right we had to dissolve gelatine in boiling water but we didnt use gelatine because that isnt vegetarian. so we had to omit that. and since brown sugar (compared to the original icing sugar) dun dissolve as well if we were to just add and stir with the creamcheese (supposed to stir in icing sugar with creamcheese), bf suggested why not just dissolve the brown sugar in boiling water since we gotta add the water (by right it should be gelatine mixed in water) to the creamcheese anyway. and we were supposed to add 40ml of water and again, bf hse has no measuring cylinder (i suppose their family seldom bake), so we assume again one cup = 100ml and we just halve it.

i call it our own recipe. hahahha! after using much of our assumption and agaration, SURPRISELY THE JELLY CHEESECAKE TASTED YUMMY STILL. OMG. how amazing is that. but the looks of it certainly seems unappealing. ahahhahaha!!!! cox i poured the jelly mixture too quickly onto the creamcheese before it totally solidify, so bits n pieces of creamcheese kind of floated around =x hhahahahahhaha! BUT YEA, STILL EDIBLE! just abit unpleasant looking.

headed for fries n ice cream at night and home!

plan B was awesome still because its ULTIMATE QUALITY TIME. ahahhah! and beause i get to make my jelly cheesecake too. heh.
