2 days before my erjie's weddddingggg.....

dajie and i accompanied my erjie to the bridal studio to do a final fit for her wedding gowns =)) all was good, collected the 2 gowns and 1 qua, and we all headed for manicure and pedicure. did i say its my first time doing a pedicure?!! hahahha! felt like a pampered princess. omg. okay nvm. anyway, sent my sis and linus back to yishun home before dajie and i rushed to do some last minute shopping for heels.
 

while waiting for erjie to finish her manicure and pedicure, dajie and i went to PS cafe for dessert! love that place. nice ambience. im always out eating with my dajie, and she seems to know all the nice places for dessert. heh! anyway, she sipped her earl grey tea and we shared this awesome double chocolate cake with ice cream. yums! sugar rush max.

and this is their famous truffle fries, we da bao-ed for my sis n linus. the portion of fries explained why it cost us $15.

recently there has been an influx of photos. haahha! and today is the last time im attending class in uni! sounds.......SADDDDD =(

class photo with prof, and she was so nice to treat the class for pizzas. haha! so we were basically munching on pizzas, passing around pizzas, drinking while she talked.

this looks pretty scary actually. HAHA!

class ended at 8.30pm and we went around taking photos for like an hr. ahhahah! =)) and 2 guys walked past while we were attempting to do our jumpshot. i think they must had thought we were silly. but ya, they offered to help us take probably because they noticed we couldnt capture it at the right time for like donkey times. haha!

its last week of schooooolllll! and my last lesson with gregor! booohoooo! yeah, gregor is my fav prof for this sem just because i think he is good looking. HAHA!

my presentation group mate! =)) and prof gregor's effort to draw a do do bird on the board behind us. yeah, we have learnt that the dodo bird verdict says 'everyone has won so all shall have prizes' (basically the verdict argued that common factors across all psychotherapies were so pervasive such that there would only be small differences in the outcomes of comparisons of different form of psychotherapies, which of course is not true ah). so that ends the lecture for the entire sem =)

eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) thats what we were pointing! our topic for presentation. HAHA! won't forget the funny video we did =)

IM BORED AT 'MEET THE PPL SESSION''. done typing all the letters, waiting for them to be vetted so i that i can print them. so lets do some updating......oh yes, might just be resigning from MPS.

craving for tom yum soup =x

headed to church in the afternoon for briefing on my sister's wedding. ended in the afternoon and i left to meet my da jie for shoppping =) accompanied her to get a dress for erjie's wedding. got that settled and we found ourselves comfortable at thai express for tom yum soup =) omg. i swear that outlet had the most potent tom yum soup. it was uber spicy!!! we each had like 3 glasses of water =x but ya, e more spicy it is, e more u want to drink it.

headed down to clark quay to meet up with my erjie and other bridesmaids for dinner! and we came across this pretty balloon sculpture at central. so we had to stop by to take photos. haha! =)

settled for dinner at boomarang =) and we had this awesome dessert at this awesome place (cant rmb the name)

and we cabbed home! the good thing of having my dajie around. ahahha!

THESIS SUBMITTED! =D mixed feelings actually - happpy with traces of paranoia. just felt my thesis wasnt good enough. whatever it is, just don't let my thesis drop below a grade B =x

that day my prof was still asking me what was my expectation for thesis. i said a B+ and she looked at me with her eyes wide open....'u aiming for first class honours?' i was like 'noooo...first class needs A- right?"and she was like 'oh yeah.' YAR. THE POINT IS AVERAGE GRADE FOR THESIS IS A B. i seriously wonder whether thats good or bad. B+ seems unreachable eh? but yeah, lowered expectation already. B is good enough for me.

cheers to finishing thesis anyway! all my sweat and blood and many many cups of earl grey latte/ caramel machiatto, all my exasperation and slpness night and everything. now i can only cross my fingers and hope that everything will be fine.

now i need to start studying for exams!

i cant wait to just submit my thesis and go party. tsk.

my thesis has been pretty smooth sailing thus far. i was lucky i got significant results and thus, didnt have to relook at other variables and i was able to start writing my thesis early. YAR. JUST WHEN U THOUGHT EVERYTHING SEEMS PLEASANT, SOMETHING JUST GOTTA HAPPEN.

I REALISED OUR CODINGS FOR TEMPERAMENT WERE REVERSED. so what was supposed to be coded as easy, we coded as difficult and vice versa. AND SO, MY RESULTS ARE NOW IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION AND NOW I GOTTA RETHINK ARGUMENTS FOR MY FINDINGS. ROARS. hate it when im just done drafting my discussion and happily sent it to my prof and this gotta happen.

and so i frantically emailed my prof and explained to her the possibility of our mistakes. and her reply was '.........................welll looking at the positive sides....you still have time to make changes' HAHHAA! she must had felt so speechless.

and when things like that happened, it stresses me like @#$%@$%^@$%^. don't like it when my schedules are disrupted. got so stressed yesterday i barely ate anything and HEY I LOST A KG. looking at the bright side =)

meijuan's mini birthday celebration! =))

i met joyce earlier just to get cakes for meijuan. and it was so funny because its the first time ever that i bought pandan cake (nono, not those ntuc pandan cake with a hole in e middle, abit more atas than that) for friends on a birthday =x joyce insisted on getting bengawan solo pandan cake to disturb meijuan and i was like...ermmm...u sure? i always associate pandan cake with my ah ma birthday =x haha! its like those elderly usually like to eat those pandan cake. BUT YA ANW. we bought a slice of pandan cake and coffee cake and joyce secretly passed it to the waitress at the place where we were dining.

and its really goood to hear mj finalllly get tog with cg. its like 3 long years of waiting and she's finally enjoying her fruits of labour. i admire her man. i don't know how many girls are willing to wait for a guy, and to wait with the possibility that there will not be any outcome. but yea, so mj is deeply in love now. hahahha! *thumbsup

after dinner, i went to the counter to get the waitress to serve the cake. AND TO MY SURPRISE, mj loves pandan cake! HAHAHAHH! well done joyce, u made the right choice =D

therapy with momo has been getting on pretty well, except for a few occasions in which he went uncontrollable. but he is still cute nonetheless =) i tried singing barney song to him and i kind of forgot the lyrics.

met bf to study in the afternooon before i left to meet my sis and her friends for dinner.

we tried out a couple of dresses. initially we were thinking of getting the same shade of colour but with different designs for the dresses, but ended up, everyone just decided to get the same dress. partly cox dresses in that shade of colour are limited and everyone seems to just fit in nicely with that same dress. so within an hour or two, we were done shopping for our dresses =)

met joyce to study at rochester starbucks!! BUT WE GOT CHASED AWAY =X anyway, i was really excited about going rochester bucks because i heard it was really awesome. But it was kind of a disappointment for me. abit over-rated i felt.

anyway, because bucks doesnt allow us to study, we headed to NTU alumni club. and we found this random spot to study.

hahah! like totally random right? but it was breezy and quiet. so we just made ourselves comfortable there =)

it was productive studying for the both of us =D awesome. and joyce made me fell for earl grey latte. yums. it has overtaken caramel macchiatto at the moment.

met up with joyce for dinnner and shopping ydae! =D seems as though we haven met for longgggg....

we went watch shopping together last week, and we spent like 2 hours walking around just 4 to 5 shops before we finally decided on our watches. bf went down alone to collect the watches yesterday and because i needed to adjust the chain of my watch, he used his wrist as benchmark =x take it positively, his wrist is as SMALL as MINE. bleah.

done with gifts and food before we finally settled down to do our thesis work till evening. I FEEL SO NOT CONFIDENT ABOUT MY THESIS. ITS.......cant find a word for it =( i just cant wait to get it over and done with. finish my 2 exams and GRAD!

being with bf makes me laugh like how i laugh when im with fairies. its uncontrollable and i can laugh the entire day. its just so comfortable to be with you i just blabber nonsense all the time and look silly in front u. love you dear!

plan A was aborted for plan B. so bf came to pick me up and we went grocery shopping for our jelly cheesecake =) we found recipe for it but it became pretty redundant because we practicallly changed the whole recipe.

we were supposed to use 50g of icing sugar but bf hse has neither icing sugar nor white sugar so we resorted to using brown sugar =x and because brown sugar is less sweet....we decided to add more of it. but bf hse has no weighing scale to measure so we use agaration, assuming 1 spoonful of brown sugar = 12g. and so we happily added 6 spoonful of it.

by right we had to dissolve gelatine in boiling water but we didnt use gelatine because that isnt vegetarian. so we had to omit that. and since brown sugar (compared to the original icing sugar) dun dissolve as well if we were to just add and stir with the creamcheese (supposed to stir in icing sugar with creamcheese), bf suggested why not just dissolve the brown sugar in boiling water since we gotta add the water (by right it should be gelatine mixed in water) to the creamcheese anyway. and we were supposed to add 40ml of water and again, bf hse has no measuring cylinder (i suppose their family seldom bake), so we assume again one cup = 100ml and we just halve it.

i call it our own recipe. hahahha! after using much of our assumption and agaration, SURPRISELY THE JELLY CHEESECAKE TASTED YUMMY STILL. OMG. how amazing is that. but the looks of it certainly seems unappealing. ahahhahaha!!!! cox i poured the jelly mixture too quickly onto the creamcheese before it totally solidify, so bits n pieces of creamcheese kind of floated around =x hhahahahahhaha! BUT YEA, STILL EDIBLE! just abit unpleasant looking.

my life cant get any more exciting. first was root canal, then wisdom tooth extraction and now, im finally fit to sit in front of my laptop after lying in bed for the past 3 days recovering from what it seems to be a stomach flu =/ booooo! shall not elaborate the details. not too pleasant to hear =/ but thanks bf for being there, physically and mentally =) *hugs

anyway, as i was slping through the past 3 days, i had many many many many dreams. of which, was this reallly scary dream about having all my teeth falling out one by one =X AND ITS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAD THIS DREAM. ITS LIKE I'VE BEEN DREAMING THIS SAME OLD DREAM FOR MANY TIMES. i wondered what it means to dream of falling teeth....and so i consulted my best buddy - google.

The typical dream scenarios include having your teeth crumble in your hands, fall out one by one with just a light tap (YESYES!! I DREAMT OF THIS!), grow crooked or start to rot. my buffet of medication =x thats 11 pills in total. never in my life have i popped 11 pills into my mouth at one shot. yucks.

but thank goodness my cheek didnt swell after the surgery! still fit for class the next day. got freaked out by my sis when she did her wisdom tooth extraction because her cheek was so swollen it was as if she had a mega fishball in her mouth =x

i think my life has been pretty much eventful lately =x

and yes! went to nus career fair today with xinyi and rousi! omg. TELL ME WHATS MY PLAN AFTER I GRAD =x i have a path envisioned somewhere in my head but it might just not work as it should. soooo......howww....suddenly i just feel like continuing my studies. lets not work!
